BDP Payroll, today Viventium, had developed an extremely powerful and complex payroll management system. Like many products, the number of features had grown exponentially over time to meet the specific needs of BDP’s largest customers. Without an appropriate focus on Design and User Experience, BDP Payroll took a significant time to learn, suffered from numerous UX inconsistencies and looked dated.

At the head of 3 person team comprised of a front end engineer, an interaction designer and a business domain expert, we completely re-thought the application logical structure based on high-value scenarios, created a system of UI components that would scale with the application, and designed a brand new look for the app.
